This shape I created for the Ivy Scraps Meet The Designer challenge, 'Show me your shape'. The name of it not only represents the designer in the spotlight this month, but reflects the variety of the uses the shape has. It's not quite a paisley shape, not quite a tear drop.

TWO Kits in Store

I've joined the 'Dabbling Designer's' group at Ivy Scraps and my first two kits are in store and available for $1 each. Both are full sized kits, papers 3600 x 3600 pixels.

At the Beach
This is a full size scrap kit with a bright, happy summer theme. It was fun to create especially the little characters.

There are 12 papers, 29 elements, all 300 ppi and quality checked for stray and missing pixels.

Scrap Kit: May Flower

This is a mini full size scrap kit, inspired by the birth flower for May. Specifically it is the Lily of the Valley, but can be extended to include lilies generally. I decided to focus on the Lily of the Valley as it is one of my favourite flowers. The colours were inspired by a Lily of the Valley plant.

The kit contains:

4 papers
1 Border
1 Bow
1 Envelope
1 Fastener
1 Frame
1 Mayfly
1 Notecard
1 Pearl Heart
1 Ribbon
2 Word Art
1 Lily of the Valley

All papers and elements are full size (3600px x 3600 px), 300 dpi resolution.

The word art 'humility' and 'sweetness' are the words that the Lily of the Valley represent.

TWO new scrap kits

I have two new scrap kits today. It's been a while since I posted so I thought I'd give a double freebie away.

The first kit is called 'Hearts and Butterflies', this is a tagger's size kit only.

It began life from colours I'd selected from a photo of the Orion nebula, and I changed the kit name half way through. So the papers are labelled 'Orion' and the elements 'Hearts and Butterflies', hey I'm a woman, it's my perogative to change my mind.

The second is FULL SIZE only. It's a mini kit I created for the Colour Challenge at Ivy Scraps, the colours were a rainbow selection so I decided to go with 'Sweet Treats'.

Vintage Spring Frame

This week I joined IVY SCRAPS . I haven't explored the whole forum but have loved what I've seen so far. One of the areas I've spent a lot of time in are the Challenges. The Shape Challenge has been the only one I've managed to participate in, but it was indeed a challenge, to be given a shape and make something from it.

This is the design I came up with. It's a full size frame 5 x 7 inches.

Vintage Spring

This one I made before 'Spring Garden' and it was to be my only spring kit. Until I found the colour swatch for Spring Garden'. So I have two spring kits this year.

As you can see the colours are more muted than Spring Garden. They were something of an experiment. As is the current kit I'm working on.
